As a child, I was so well-dressed that people would congratulate me every single day, thinking it was my birthday. It was a valuable lesson on the impact of appearance though it was only half the story. As Victor Hugo wrote, "La forme est le fond qui remonte à la surface”, there is no appearance without essence.

Finding this balance has guided the decisions I’ve made since then. I studied International Business, but I also graduated from film school, La Fémis. I live in Amsterdam, but also in Paris. I’m well-versed in French literature, and I know all André Hazes lyrics (the Dutch will understand). I work with politicians and CEO’s, but I also have thousands of followers on Instagram as an influencer.

After many years of studying, traveling, reading, consulting, sparring, and connecting, I’m convinced that we’re all in sales - selling ourselves to ourselves, our toughest stakeholder, and to the people we need around us.
